- Went late for my first class.
- Dozed off in class.
- Got caught for dozing off in class.
- Whined about the rest of the year.
- Ate crap food from the canteen.
- Got sick.
- Did absolutely nothing productive when I got back home.
Yup, I'd say I kept the traditions alive.

hahahhaha all of us feel this way when in college... its only when we are out that we realise, Man! they were such golden years!!! :)

And don't worry even I doze in class :P and my neighbor makes be get caught for that...grrr
During my time in the army the instructor used to punish the 4 person sitting front, back , right and left for letting me sleep.
The punishment was to do 20 push-ups.
after the 20 push-ups they would jab me with their fingers each time i even attempt to get into position to sleep.
you know after lunch time, sitting under the shade of a tree and listening to monotonous blabbering, is the ultimate lullaby.
anyways, you will soon adapt to the school timetable and get it going smoothly, good luck.
well i'm sure it will get better...dozing is fun

By the way, isn't that the whole point of going to college -- doing nothing? :) I always try my best to waste time. Doing nothing productive ain't that easy, after all -- it requires practice. (I'm a natural, though.)

that is the exact same things that i used to do when i was in college. and hey you cant blame your self for that. BTW i sleep like a baby when i come from college....such a tired day!!!

In Singapore Men above 18 years of age as to go through compulsory military training for 2 years. i spent mine in the Air force as a Surface-to-Air Missile specialist.
yep done all that in the first week :D

I am also kinda superstitious like you.. feel that the first day of the college will determine how the rest of the year will go.. and that is valid for Jan 1 every year too :D
